Making Our Own Magic from Bridjet Morris on Vimeo.
The other day I was looking for something fun and adventurous for me and Roman to do. I started browsing the internet for something exciting: a farm, a museum, a little kids gym, a park. And, after wasting way too much time online, I finally realized we could have our own adventure and spontaneously awesome playdate right here at home!
We have always loved to paint together, so I figured that would be an easy and fun option. So, while Roman was sleeping, I cleared out part of his playroom and laid out a big tarp. I gathered some pine cones, rocks, and sticks from around the house to use as fun accessories to paint on. When I woke Roman up, I brought him downstairs to see what I had set up for us. He was so excited!
Instead of exerting the energy to take him somewhere, we stayed in and created our own fun and magic together at home.
Here’s a glimpse at our fun painting project! And, if any of you have any ideas for at-home activities to do with toddlers, I’d love for you to share them with me below!
