Learning is a lifetime adventure. Our parents teach us, we take scholastic classes, we hire coaches. We read, we write, we listen. All with the intention of becoming the best possible, most full versions of ourselves. I take this opportunity very seriously–because that’s really what it is, an opportunity we’re all so blessed to have. This is the reason I value working with coaches, those who are experts in their fields and bestow their knowledge onto me so I can become more engaged and developed as a person and therefore a mom and wife. Working with coaches and investing in ourselves–it’s everything!
Personal development is an ongoing process. There are empowerment coaches, nutritionists, personal trainers, business coaches, and so many more. So many specialties, so many areas. I just finished a 2-month session with a women’s empowerment coach named Natalia. Once a week for 8 weeks, we hopped on the phone to discuss my morning routine and what areas I wanted to improve. To refocus the way in which I go about my day. Having a mentor is so empowering and uplifting, someone who’s not just your husband/wife/partner, but an objective advocate holding up a mirror so you can see yourself fully, without filters. I invested the money because I prioritized it. Similar to when I was trying to conceive and I met with a health coach who taught me about balancing my body and how to supplement with vitamins and minerals–things I never considered as a young, busy woman!
“Call it whatever you want–coaching, guiding, teaching–but it’s essentially giving women the tools to become the best versions of themselves.”
I see value in it. And this is exactly why I created the Countdown To Baby course, using my personal experience and knowledge to empower you, all the moms-to-be!
The older I get, my needs change. I’m not looking for a fertility coach; now it’s more about spiritual evolvement, how can I serve my community better, how can I do more to be a better woman, challenging my mind and body in new ways. Wellness, mentally, physically, and intellectually, is paramount, tuning into ourselves. We get into yoga, eating cleaner–whatever makes us connect with the divine feeling inside. Most of us are living busy lives, some of us may even in toxic relationships. We must prioritize and appreciate the tools necessary to navigate this world.
