We’re well into the first month of 2023 and as promised, I’ve got some exciting news!
Like I talked about in my last blog, 2023 is the year of intentional living. What better way to follow through with that vision than to put it into action right away?
In the spirit of Valentine’s Day and February being the month of love, join us on February 13th at Rose Room 220 for an evening of self love, intention, and soul-nourishing sisterhood as we raise money for local nonprofit the CARE House. Special guest and “Devotions of Love” author, Tatianna Merrit, will lead us in thought provoking and meaningful discussions rooted in love and mindfulness. Let’s enjoy some heartfelt conversations, light bites, seasonal drinks (including N/A options), and self love.
Anyone who knows me knows how seriously I take self love and care. There is so much more to self love than blowouts, makeup, and getting dressed up (but of course, those can be powerful, too). Self love is not something we cultivate only externally but also internally. Self love is prioritizing our health, our wellness, our spirit, and our relationships. It’s about developing a deep sense of connection to the community around us. It’s about taking the time to be mindful about doing what makes us feel nourished – with people that make us feel nourished.
I am SO excited for this opportunity for us to come together as a community to cultivate love for ourselves, each other, and the children in need of services through the CARE House. When women hold space for one another, practice vulnerability, purposefully connect and get involved in building communities that align with their values – that’s when magic happens.
Come build this community with us. Take the time to nourish your spirit surrounded by powerful, like-minded women. And be ready to feel worthy and loved – because you are worthy and loved. I hope to see you in February!
