The second stop of our Italian vacation was to the beautiful Italian Riviera where we stayed in Portofino. It’s hard to top the beauty and landscapes of Lake Como, but Portofino and the surrounding area is just WOW. The colors of the buildings and the emerald green water are postcard worthy.
One day we ventured off to a small private beach club and spent the afternoon swimming and relaxing in the sun. Roman was in heaven playing in the sand and splashing around in the water with daddy.
Another day we chartered a boat and headed out for a day trip to Cinque Terre, an area on the riviera of 5 tiny fishing towns all built into the cliffs. We stopped off in Vernazza for lunch before making our way back. (This was definitely a highlight of the trip!)
And, lastly, before we left Portofino, we took the opportunity to do a family photo shoot. I knew before we left on this trip that I really wanted to capture some special moments of just the three of us, and this was the perfect spot to do so. We were honored to spend an evening shooting with Gabri and I’ll be sharing those images soon in an upcoming post.
So many beautiful memories were made here and I am forever grateful!
