Family Photo Shoot in Portofino

by | Aug 23, 2016 | Family, Travel

I think family photo shoots, especially in beautiful vacation destinations, are a must. One problem is that it’s not always easy to find the right photographer to capture your memories, especially when you’re looking for someone in a tiny village in a foreign country. Thankfully, for our family photo shoot in Portofino my wedding planners referred me to Erin and Gabri and I couldn’t be more pleased with how our photos turned out. This was the last family photo shoot we planned before our baby girl arrives this fall, and it was important to make sure we found the right person for the job.

On the second evening of our stay in Portofino we were greeted by Gabri at our hotel. We strolled down to the nearby marina and shot some candids before traveling to San Fruttuoso, a tiny fishing village just north of Portofino and only accessibly by boat.

By the time we arrived to San Fruttuoso everyone had departed and the sun was beginning to fade. It was a beautiful backdrop and the perfect space to let our little explorer run freely while Gabri snapped away. We were lucky to get a few really spacial pictures of all of us and a whole bunch of squirmy Roman shots too. This time he was not interested in posing for a camera! Thankfully Gabri was used to dealing with toddlers and was able to just roll with it.

Documenting trips and significant events by a professional photographer is something we have always believed in and it’s always proven to be a priceless investment. Next time you plan a special get away, consider booking a photo shoot with a photographer. Provided you find a good one, it’s well worth any expense!

Thanks again to Gabri for so beautifully capturing our family.

Here are some of my favorites from our shoot!

XOXO
