They say the most successful couples are ying and yang, balancing each other out, and boy, is that true! While I often am chaotic, my hubby is cool and collected, the most patient man I know. Everything about him oozes understanding and calmness. He never gets annoyed, never raises his voice, and I’m certain it’s what holds us together. “What can I do to help?” he’ll ask with a smile. I often feel like I don’t deserve him because he’s just that good. He has done everything I could have hoped for in the past decade to strengthen us as a unit: personal development, sobriety, becoming the absolutely best in his profession. He does it for himself, but even more so I know he does it for me and the kids.
