As a mother and citizen of the world, I am utterly horrified by the events taking place in our country right now. To rip young children from their parents, distribute them in the dark of the night to unknown locations–you’d think we weren’t in the US any longer. It’s one thing to feel appalled, it’s another to speak up, so that’s what I’m doing. Could you imagine if these were your children? It’s our job to expose the government for what it is doing to those who need our help.
I applaud the New York Mayor for exposing the truths. I have a voice. I have a platform. I am here to encourage us to protest and spread the world. This is not what America is. We are better than this.
