I think it’s incredibly important that our kids harness a sense of adventure and see diversity in all its forms. We regularly get out of our city limits and spend the day exploring! We called up our favorite photographer Olivia and did a fun shoot in Downtown Detroit, walking the streets and checking out the shops in Capitol Park, like an adorable vintage baby clothing store. I had to hold back from buying everything! I cherish capturing these moments with my kids, and have therefore encouraged my friends to do the same. I know many people avoid hiring a photographer because of the money, but I can’t recommend it highly enough. At the very least, find a friend who can take candid shots of you and your little ones just living life.
